JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Overview:

Service customers at the front counter, over the telephone and the Internet. Help the customer by identifying the services and products that best meet their needs while maintaining profitability for the company. Ensure that all of their requirements are met. Represent the company by conveying expertise in our services and capabilities.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Greets customers in a courteous manner and prepares quote requests
  • Answers the telephone using the company's procedures for incoming calls and directs calls appropriately
  • Helps customers at the front counter, on the phone, or by email
  • Handles routine questions and requests by customers
  • Deals with customer complaints and concerns and facilitates a satisfactory resolution as quickly as possible
  • Processes orders in a timely manner and reports any delays to management
  • Orders stock or supplies as required for current jobs using proper procedures
  • Uses the computerized pricing/estimating program
  • Follows systems and procedures
  • Supports the sales and marketing efforts of our company
  • Maintains an orderly appearance of the front lobby area
  • Files customer art files (originals) daily when not electronically submitted
  • Ensures all jobs are placed in proper locations before leaving
  • Rejects poor quality or incorrect jobs and notifies management
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Follows up on work being produced to ensure accurate and timely delivery
QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least one year of experience in sales or customer service in the graphic arts or sign industry required
  • Able to cross-sell/upsell
  • Good communication skills, both in person and over the phone
  • Proficient computer and internet skills
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Strong organization skills, able to multi-task, and can manage time to meet frequently changing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to move about freely through the center in order to work with other team members and accomplish tasks
  • Appearance at all times must represent the company image
  • Must be willing and able to work in an environment that includes exposure to ink and chemical fumes, airborne particles (dust, drying powder, etc.), and loud noise levels
